The Lyons family has a long association with the sport of karting, starting with Raymond back in the 1960s. Raymond Lyons was a multiple champion right through to the 90s and his three sons shared his enthusiasm for the sport. All of them branched out into various careers associated with karting.

Andrew now owns the Kart Shop which supplies karts and spares to the racing fraternity.

Richard moved from karts to cars as soon as he was old enough and moved up the ranks to sports-cars. He has raced in Japan since 2001 and has also competed in the V8 Supercars in Australia.

Isaac raced karts and then had two very successful years in the Skip Barber Championship in the USA. He now manages Lyons Karting along with his father.

The kart track first took shape back in the 1990s when the boys wanted to practice their skills. Gradually over the years, it was improved and shaped into the impressive circuit that it is today. Now as Members of the National Karting Association, Lyons Karting offers customers the opportunity to try the sport for themselves.

Today, we are a popular destination for those who feel the need for speed, and have just expanded our offerings; we now offer paintballing sessions under the Juggernaut Paintball name.

As members of the National Karting Association, Raymond and his three sons provide customers with the opportunity to try the sport of karting for themselves. The firm is now managed by Isaac Lyons. He started off his career in 1997 at a local kart club in Northern Ireland. From then on there was no looking back as he went on to win the "Most Outstanding Junior" in the Northern Ireland Championship in 1999.
